Okay, so as you all know, Shugo Chara! Party! came out today and having watched it less than half an hour ago... well... Onigiri has mixed feelings. The episode starts off with an introduction from three girls cosplaying as Amulet Heart, Amulet Spade and Amulet Clover... Okay...

Onigiri's reaction: WTF... One, where is Amulet Diamond... Two... WHERE THE CRAP IS MY ANIME!? D8<

Yeah... Then... we're met by a PV/Opening... slightly cool, but for the first time ever, I'm not a fan of the song. Seriously, its like, a first for me! I just don't think its very cute this time although the PV/anime thing they have going on is, as I said, quite cool.

So I sit through the opening... and...

Onigiri's Reaction: OMG!! D< WHY ARE THOSE COSPLAYERS BACK!? WHERE IS MY ANIME DAMMIT!? *throws popcorn at the screen*

The cosplay girls tell us that Shugo Chara! Party! is going to be a continuation of Shugo Chara! Doki!, Shugo Chara! Doki Dokii! ... *blinks* But isn't this season called Shugo Chara! Party...? 0.o

The anime is also accompanied by a mini series called Shugo Chara! Pucchi Puchi!

Onigiri's Reaction: Oh! That'll be cute! 8D A nice way to end the episode!

So yeah, sit through that... and... Shugo Chara! Pucchi Puchi! starts... why... WHY did they put the mini anime at the start of the episode?! WE WANT OUR AMU!!!! D< So I sit there fuming through that, as cute as it is, and then I'm greeted by a mini-feature called Shugo Chara Encyclopedia. Not bad, and the music is pretty cool, plus we're given a name for the song! 8D ...But I can't find it on YouTube. But after listening to the song a few times, I think its possibly Kanae Ito. =w= Which is cool since I like it when she sings as Amu~

So the feature ends... and I start to get excited about the ani... OMG! WHY IS MY ANIME BEING TAKEN OVER BY THE CHARAS?! D<<<<

Yes... you read that correctly... MORE. SHUGO. CHARA. PUCCHI. PUCHI. =_=

Cute. But Onigiri wants her anime goodness now. =_= NOW.

More cosplay girls...

FINALLY!!! D< ITS ABOUT TIME DAMMIT. And another opening!...But why is the beginning of the OP so crappy with the animation?! 0_o

... yeah... well at least the song is pretty good this time! AND KYAAAA!! HIKARU!!! IN SEIYO'S UNIFORM!!! OMG!! I'VE BEEN BLINDED BY THE COMPLETE KAWAII-NESS!!! xD He's so damn adorable!!! Especially in the bow tie he's wearing instead of the long tie. So adorable! And theres also a glimpse of the new girl... shes cute... but shes holding an X-Egg... =_=

Lots of clips which look like flashbacks in the opening... O_O OMG!!! AMUTO-NESS!!!!!! IKUTO IS SMILING!!! ACTUALLY SMILING!!! NOT SMIRKING!! SMILING!!!! <3333333333333 *dies from nosebleed*

By the time the opening ends of course, theres only fourteen minutes left... =_=

Anyway... then the new girl appears... and shes not evil at first glance!!! In fact, I acutally find her quite likeable! At least, in my opinion she is... -.-;;;

Of course, by the end of the SEVEN MINUTE ANIME. SEVEN MINUTES. =_= ... I don't really know what to think of her... I dunno whether to think shes original or a Mary-Sue... This could either be because I'm too tired to see a MS when shes standing right in front of me, or because I need to get to know her better, but I'm sure I'll have decided by next week.

The fortune feature is quite cute, although I chose Dia's egg... yeah... After that, the cosplay girls return and talk about the auditions for the Amulet Diamond presenter... Hnn... =_=

And finally we have the ending. =w= Buono~ They never sease to satisfy my j-pop addiction. Another PV/Anime thing going on here, but its much better than the first opening and it sorta reminds me of Ouran High School Host Club's Ending with the still art in the background.

All in all, I'm very disappointed about the length of the episode itself. SEVEN MINUTES IS NOT ENOUGH. IT IS NOT. =________= Hopefully, they will return our FULL LENGTH EPISODE, thats the FULL TWENTY MINUTES PLEASE IF YOU ARE BY ANY CHANCE READING THIS SATELIGHT. Because I seriously will get annoyed if I have to suffer the cosplay girls each week. =_=

If it returns to its usual episode length though, I'll be really looking forward to the future episodes. Some of the titles have been revealed on Wikipedia and I must say, Hikaru's episode is calling out to me the most but we'll probably get to see him in an episode before that so as long as he and his cute-ness get enough screentime, I'll be happy xD [link] I mean look at him on the poster! He looks so cute and curious!!! <333333 >W<

But all in all, we hopefully have another year of Shugo Chara! if they improve next week. owo Fingers crossed, eh?
